A half a World Away

Sixteen year old Eliza Miller has never had a phone, never tired on a pair of jeans never sat In a darkened theater waiting for a movie to start. She's never even talked to someone her age who isn't Amish, like her. She is different then others. When she leaves her close-knit family to spend the summer as a nanny in suburban Chicago, a part of her can't wait to leave behind everything she knows. She can't imagine the secrets she will uncover, the friends she will make, the surprises and temptations of a way of life so different from her own. This book was t that good but I think you should read it cause she a different person she isn't like us.
The book stolen girl, had good scenes. I never really believed Cheyenne was in any great danger. I knew from the 2nd chapter that Griffin was never going to let anything bad happen to her. It would have been better if we didn't know Griffin was completely good guy, if there was some doubt over his good intentions, something dangerous about him other than his father. The book would have been more intense if all the angles had been played.  she really didn't dive that deep into the psychology of being kidnapped. So I think you should read this book because it's really good and it's sad.

The Pregnancy Project

In the book pregnancy project there's this girl name Gabriela but Gaby  and she is a smart girl and she has good grades. But in this story she has a project she has to do for school it's her last year of college. Her mom was pregnant at a young age. She was fourteen and had her baby at fifteen. So Gaby wants to do a project of a fake pregnancy but no one knows only her mother and her principle. She tells her friends about her pregnancy and they thought she was just joking, which she is but she can't say so finally when she told them they were so rude they started saying things. One said "your one of the smart girls why would you do this, I didn't expect you'll have a baby!" They treated her like if someone made the badess mistake in our whole enter life. Same goes to her teachers they were talking about her. I recalled that one of her teachers said she missed up her life and she won't go to collage. I can compare this to someone in my family. My sister, she was pregnant at 14. When she told her friends no one wanted to talk to her. Her teachers were a shamed of her. When she had her baby no one was there for her. This doesn't really relate her to Gaby but it does how people talk about them and they turn there backs on her. It kills me how people react to those who got pregnant at a young age. One of her friends told her "Why would a smart kid do the S*******t thing ever."  Till this day she remembers who told her that. It somewhat could connect to both Gaby mom and Gaby herself. Gaby mom was pregnant at 14 same goes to my sister.Gaby friends and teachers would talk bad things about her and same goes to my sister.

My Goal This Year

This year my goals are I want at least 3's or2's for my grades. I want to graduate middle school with a great year. Also tips one not about school but I would like to learn more things about house to do braids and stuff like that with hair. When I grow up I want to be a hair stylist. I've been learning how to do year since I was little. But to accomplish that I have to study and practice every time. Hopefully when I enter high school I do really good. I don't want to miss any homework or dopey off or else I won't learn anything. I'm not going to accomplish all but I'd love to do them. This year is going to be the best good year for me.

 The Girl Stolen
By:April Henry
The book I am reading is called Girl Stolen. The theme in this book is be careful on what you do, make sure something or someone's with you. The characters in this book are Gheyenne, Dainelle,Griffen, and Roy. The problem in the story was that Griffen was stealing a car. That car was Danielle and Gheyenne. Gheyenne is blind. Her mom leave to go to the store and Gheyenne was in the back seat laying down with a cover on her. Griffen gets in the car and drives away. Gheyenne hear but doesn't do anything. She puts the cover over her head. Griffen doesn't know that she in the back seat until he see's her. the main problem this that he has the girl and he doesn't know what to do leave her or take her. This book is interesting because a girl who's blind gets taken to a place. Someone who doesn't know what to do with her. All she does is screams for someone to help her, she can't run away because she can't see. What do they do?
